Our founder, the late Dr. Theophanes Gaitanaros, had a vision...he wanted to build a community that would allow seniors to age comfortably while understanding the dignity and respect that should be afforded to them.

Dr. Gaitanaros was a pioneer in the nursing home industry. His wife, Doula, and their three children have brought the visionary dream to a reality through the Athenian Village.
